While on a walk about in Montreal I came across some interesting sculpture, this one in particular caught my eye not only for the quality of the piece but also the patina of the bronze and of course the pigeon perched upon it's head.  Interestingly enough it seems that monuments and the lowly rock dove are inseparable, and so I could not do other than to include one in this painting.
