Unusual weather in Saskatchewan , after a number of years of drought the summer of 2005 saw a reversal.  It rained almost every day that I and my family came to visit and attend my nieces wedding.  The reception was held in a air craft hanger deck at the brides fathers small air-port.  As I stood outside to get some air, the clouds looked ominous and of course filled with more rain.

I was struck by the bright green grass, a very unusual occurrence for mid summer on the prairies, and the red & white Cessna parked on the side.  Add to that the incoming thunder storm and I saw the elements coming  together for an interesting painting, the result of which you see before you.
