"Conestoga River Moonrise"

24  x 18 inches, oil on canvas mounted to hard board.

  Original For Sale

Standing on a dock I watched the sun go down and the moon rise over the quiet waters of the Conestoga River. Cottages dot the shoreline along this part of the river, the deepening twilight brought on their lights sharp vertical reflections upon the glassy smooth water.   As I stood there I noticed the peace and quiet of this natural scene with the crescent moon slowly climbing into the sky, except for those cottage lights this vision has repeated itself over the millions of years upon this planet . . . a sense of continuance came over me, natures grand display.
